Five of the K4’s six trims are powered by a 147-horsepower 2.0-liter engine paired to an Intelligent Variable Transmission, giving it up to an EPA-estimated 34 MPG combined efficiency. Drivers who want more power can choose the GT-Line Turbo trim’s 1.6-liter turbo engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission for 190 horsepower and 29 MPG efficiency. No matter which option you choose, the K4 comes with Drive Mode Select to customize driving dynamics with modes including Normal, Sport, and My Drive.

Technology and Convenience

The K4 comes with standard convenience features that help out when you need it most. When your hands are full, its Smart Trunk opens hands-free so you can load and unload the trunk easily. Just stand behind the trunk with your Smart Key for 3 seconds and the trunk opens automatically.

The K4 also comes with a complimentary 3-year subscription to Kia Connect. This service includes an array of convenient features, like remote start, remote lock and unlock, and find my car, which you can use right from your smartphone with the Kia Access app.
